Offers from:
- HKUST (The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) (with a scholarship)
- HKU (The University of Hong Kong) (with a scholarship)
- NUS (National University of Singapore), and
- NTU (Nanyang Technological University).
Decision: undecided - in particular, staying in Hong Kong or moving to Singapore. I am keen on working in Singapore, as I believe that the general economic forecast and job market there are more promising compared to Hong Kong. However, I am concerned about the potential challenges of obtaining a work visa as a Hong Kong resident.
Background: I am a Hong Kong resident and I completed my undergraduate studies at King's College London (LLB) and the University of Hong Kong (LLB). I am a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong, but I am looking to transition out of the legal industry and venture into a career as a management consultant or in a strategy role. I have a GMAT score of 650 (a bit low I know..) and 3.5 years of work experience.
