Prior experience with a technology start up, then pivoted and began working for a real estate developer. Started a RE services company with my prior boss, sold the property management arm of the company and still working in construction management. Have a handful of RE holdings which within PE structures I have raised capital on. Looking at the MBA as a means to diversify outside of the real estate sector, increase credibility to be able to do more public-private partnerships through govt funded housing programs, get more corporate exposure as most of my work has been in a family office or entrepreneurial setting, and potentially find partners to run a search fund. Have sat on the board of non-profits outside of my work as well.
You are slightly below the average for GMAT for the M7's and basically all the programs except McCombs so it all depends on how they love you as a strong candidate/deep profile besides the test scores. It is not that test scores mean anything really but they determine the average for the program and that plays into the rankings and rankings is a rat race for schools, so we as applicants have to pay the tribute in test scores. Anyway, I think your profile is good and interesting enough. if you don't get interview invites in the next few weeks (Wharton is 3 weeks), your only area of improvement would be test scores and I would suggest retaking the GMAT or pivoting to the GRE, which is much more forgivable towards unimpressive scores for all except Yale.
P.S. I would also suggest looking at the locations where you are planning to be after your MBA - seems like Austin may be one of those places and picking a regional program which will have enough value locally, which of course it seems you have done so there goes my advice out of the window.
We see that you got dinged from Stern and Wharton. We understand how tough it is to get a rejection from a school. It's a difficult moment, but it can also be a stepping stone to your success.
