Data-driven product manager and analytics professional with experience in early-stage Adtech startups and internal banking/financial tools at a top global banking/finance institution. My recent experience has been in building ML internal data products and GenAI innovation solutions. Career growth and moves have been mainly advancing into technical IC and project/product ownership roles.
My academic background is in psychology with a masters in human/consumer behavior. I desire to transition into health tech industry and building the future of social impact technology wearables/biometric/human wellness - merging my passions for psychology/health/wellbeing, and skillset i've been honing in product/tech/data/AI. Short term goal is transitioning into an early stage healthtech/AI startup managing a product and leading people. Looking to obtain an MBA to build a network/learn from others in cohort in the same space, invest in developing my leadership/management skills, understanding foundational business/finance strat, fostering an organizational mindset in startup space. Longer term is ascending in Product Leadership and innovating the future of consumer wellness tech.
I am Priyanka, Client Manager at ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, your GPA is solid while your GMAT score is slightly below the average for the schools you are targeting. However, with nine years of experience in product management and analytics, particularly in early-stage Adtech startups you might have strong leadership skills to demonstrate to the adcoms.
Now, your academic background in psychology, paired with your interest in health tech and consumer wellness, makes your goal of transitioning into a product leadership role in health tech compelling. The desire to merge psychology and technology into wellness solutions is unique and impressive.
Are you considering retaking the GMAT? A score of about 685 would be ideal and anything above that would just further strengthen your chances. I would also recommend you add a few safe schools to your list.

Good Luck!
Your overall profile shows strong potential, particularly with the blend of technical expertise, product management experience, and a clear vision for transitioning into healthtech. Starting with your GMAT Score, a 635 FE is lower for the top programs (retaking the GMAT could open doors at higher-ranked programs). Consider retaking it or focusing on schools where your extensive work experience and clear career goals can help offset the score. Your 3.86 GPA and your psychology background add depth to your profile, showing you are analytical and can bridge tech with human behavior insights.
Your 9 years of experience in technology, especially in data/ AI and ML solutions, position you well for an MBA, particularly in programs that emphasize tech innovation. Transitioning into healthtech, focusing on wearables/biometric/human wellness, is well-defined and aligns with current market trends. You should definitely use your strengths and highlight your leadership potential and technical impact in your current roles to make your application stand out of the pool. You can also consider addressing the GMAT score in an optional essay, especially if there are extenuating circumstances. Here is a list of MBA programs with some good networks in tech and healthcare, where your work experience, GPA, and career goals may compensate for the lower GMAT: Fuqua, UCLA Anderson, USC Marshall, Georgetown, Ross, Cornell, Rice, and more. Do you have any Extracurricular activities? While your professional experience is truly impressive, consider including a couple of extracurricular activities that show you're well-rounded outside of work.
Overall, you have an amazing profile. It depends on how you connect the dots and present a compelling application. If you’d like, we are happy to hop on 1:1 call with you to discuss your profile in detail and shortlist schools for you.
Cheers!
