That said, your scores are mostly going to be seen at par with school averages. This could mean that how you showcase your past experiences and the portability of your skills into consulting (think: "Where will a firm be able to bill you?") will matter most in your applications.

You have a good GPA and your GMAT score is near the class average for most places you are targeting.
You need to make sure that your application essays reflect your experiences and your past learnings. Your need to play to your strengths. Do make sure that your post-MBA goals are clearly depicted in your application essays and how each specific school will be critical in helping you achieve the same. Being a Defense personal will add diversity to your background as well. You are higher on the work exp range and that is why you should utilize your essays in the right way to depict your story. Ensure that they showcase your leadership skills.
Interact with alumni and having strong recommendations will be a big plus for your admit chances.

Also, look at the 1 year programs for the schools and also the GEMBA at Washington.
