If Booth rejected your scores and AWS brand, something was grossly wrong in your cv profile, career narrative, essays, recos, etc. and /or your research on Booth was insufficient. Do consider reflecting and bounce back for R2. Chin up!

Hi akshatkish1106
I am Priyanka, Client Manager at ARINGO. I see a strong GMAT score, strong GPA and good years of work experience. Were you able to identify what might have gone wrong? I hope you are planning to apply in R2 to a broader set of schools.

Very kind of you to be a VP at a Toast-masters club - I loved my experience there. I did not have any leadership roles however.
Good luck with Fuqua and R2 - I think it makes sense to try more schools and options. If you have a network and AWS experience, perhaps even a school such as Foster which may be willing to give $$ along, would be a good option.

Thanks for taking the time to review this bb! I am preparing my application to Ross right now. In the future, I also intend to apply Kellogg/CBS (not quite made up my mind between the 2) and Tepper.

Will sure take a look at Foster as well. Since I am an Indian applicant, ISB is generally our safe school (although tbh nothing is safe for Indian Engineer male😅), and from my research Foster could be a good alternative in that league giving access to US west-coast based jobs.

Will keep this tracker updated!

I hear you! It’s a bummer about ISB. The advantage that Foster has is location - the major employers such as Amazon, Microsoft as well as lots of offices from Facebook, Google and other tech companies are right here in Seattle. you have a lot of the alums going there and so your naturally have a large network.
