Two points here:
1. You will need to show international orientation for b-schools such as INSEAD, LBS and HEC that highly value it.
2. Your rationale for an MBA is valid, but when you write your goals essays, you will have to show a larger purpose in your career than 'taking senior leadership role'. Career goals should address what large impact you wish to create through your career.
