I took two exams. Manhattan GMAT - score 570 (35Q and 34V) and Princeton - score 570 (34Q and 35V). Am I correct that my study plan (which I started about a week ago) should include equal time on both because both areas are equally my weakness area?

Hi,

In my opinion its not about time but the progress you make on each section.
Try to achieve your goal in each section irrespective of the time involved.

You can budget roughly the same amount of time in advance -- but as mentioned, it's about improvement. If you can make significant progress in very little time in a particular section -- then great. Then see if you can make similar improvement in the other section -- if that requires a little bit more time, then so be it.

Make a mental note of the types of questions you are getting wrong -- ask yourself what you can do differently to make sure you don't make a similar mistake in the future.

Hi,

I agree with the other posts, while it is about time, it eventually becomes about progress. I would say to start, allot equal time to both. As you move on, determine which particular areas in each section require more of your time. Once you figure out where your studies need to lay, do not focus on time, but just concentrate on practicing those specific areas until you have them mastered. If you can, try and use prep courses and practice tests that are both adaptive to your answers and tailor themselves towards where you need to focus your studies.
