One should always use POE and evaluate the choices wrt to the passage content as asked. As stated in the passage, no different methods to draw map for Native American lands is described, thus A cannot hold true.
No where it is mentioned in the passage of the methods used by Native Americans to map native american lands, thus comparison with European methods will not hold true. Thus B is incorrect.
As per second para, the author concludes or inferences details that can be true on the basis of study of historical maps. No uses on that basis is mentioned. Thus C is incorrect.
As the passage describes the content that is present in historical maps (stated in para 1 & first 2 sentences of para2), D option can hold true.
The passage does not provide a proposal to any institution to improve the accuracy of the maps. Thus E is incorrect.
After reading all the choices, only D holds true.
