Ali1951 - I don't think it's a good idea to take the risk of submitting your GMAT score after the deadline, especially given we have had instances in which test-takers did not receive the official score of GMAT Online even after a month of taking the test. An ideal option is to take written consent from the admissions committee of your target schools.

Hi Ali,

Since Schools often take weeks (or even months) to decide who to invite to their Programs, many Schools have shown some 'flexibility' in terms of when they need access to your Official Score Report (as long as the rest of your application is in on time). In your situation though, you might be applying without actually knowing what your GMAT Score is - and that's a bit different of a situation. Given how Covid-19 has upended the traditional application process this year, I suspect that most Schools would be fine with you applying under the circumstances (assuming that your Official Score from the At-home GMAT will eventually become available). That having been said, the professional way to handle this would be to reach out to each School directly, explain your situation and confirm that it is still okay to apply under these circumstances.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi Ali,

Yes, some schools will allow you to send in your GMAT score after the application deadline. However, to be certain of which schools will allow this you should reach out to the folks in admissions to get a definitive answer.
