I was denied entry to write the GMAT exam due to a name discrepancy. In my passport, my surname is written in full as
Kanti , but in my Pearson VUE profile it appears only as
K.
I had already updated my name in my GMAT profile to match my passport well in advance. However, it seems the corrected name was not synced with the Pearson VUE system. Despite requesting the test center staff multiple times, I was not allowed to take the exam.
As advised, I have now raised a request with both Pearson VUE and GMAT Support regarding this issue.

Also, I would like to know if there is any possibility of receiving a refund or rescheduling my appointment.
