Well i do hve some questions tat m not quite sure about
1) should i opt for a 1 yr mba or 2 year mba
2) wic mba ranking site to follow
3) wat critieria shd i keep in mind before applyin for tat particular school (as I m completely shifting my career from dentistry to management )
4) i am more interested in Australia but all
Major mba schools in Australia offer only one year With no summer internship..for example melbourne business school, macquerie business school and UNSW..
5) In canada, most schools r offering 16 mnths mba..so r they similar to 2 yr mba or any disadvantages..
6) Hows mba at QUT, Brisbane..coz ranking of australian and canadian universities r pretty ambiguous..

Hello there,
1. Its up to you. A one year MBA of course comes with far less opportunity and real costs.
2. For US schools only US NEws and World Report matters. Globally, use the FT rankings
3. Simply that you should go to the best school you can get into. The GMAT will be determining here.
4. None of the Australian schools really have any international prestige, so unless you have a specific reason for going, I'd suggest looking into other options.
5. It's basically the same as a 2 year program
6. Relative to what? :)

One final thought about choosing schools - the most important thing is that your education can help you realize your goals. Otherwise, why go?

Well, you can try. But a 570 is not a very good score. It's up to you. But since we are relatively close to deadlines for R2, you may also want to consider retaking the GMAT over the next months and planning NOW for an R1 application next year.

Best,
Jon
