The probability of picking up first ticket is 2/60, second is 1/59.
Combined is 2/3540, which is equal to 1/1770

Why do we have to multiply it by 2? Why is the order important in this question?

Dear thakurarun85,

The question talks about lucky draw, there are two PDA's available as prizes , PDA stands for Persoanl Digital Assistants, kind of pocket PC. Please google PDA to undertand better.

Hence question is asking what is the probability that the couple gets both the prizes.

Hope it's clear now.
