Hi,
Post attempting Official Mock 3 I realized that my DI section is not at all improving, despite putting a lot of effort.
My target for DI is 85/85+. Sharing my analysis below and requesting suggestion on what I am doing wrong/what should I do to improve further.
Some additional Inputs -
1. In all 3 mocks I attempted only 16 questions due to time constraint. In first 2 mock, i skipped all last 4 TPA questions. In 3rd mock I decided to skip my 2nd MSR so that I can attempt last 4 TPA.
2. Between Mock 2 and Mock 3 (2 week gap), i have solved around 175 questions in DI with 72% accuracy.
3. In my last 3 month prep, I have solved 860 DI questions with 75% accuracy.
4. Approach - Solve TPA,GT by forum quiz. DS - Streak. MSR - Normal Mode. I try to touch all DI question type daily but in the worst case solve at least 2 type.
5. Section order was QA-VA-Break-DI for first two mocks and QA-DI-Break-VA for 3rd mock.
6. Preparation source - GMAT Club (Only)
Last 3 official mock data :-
Official Mock 1 (2/20/2026) - 595 (Q86, V78, D75)
Official Mock 2 (3/26/2026) - 645 (Q88, V81, D76)
Official Mock 3 (4/09/2026) - 645 (Q88, V81, D77)

Your data tells a pretty specific story. The issue isn't volume or effort, it's where your errors are clustering.
A few things jump out:
Your MSR accuracy cratered from 67% to 33% in Mock 3. That single sub-type swing is almost certainly what's holding your D score down. MSR regression usually means one of two things: you're rushing the reading phase to buy time for the questions, or you're letting a confusing passage paralyze you and then rushing at the end. Either way, the fix is actually to slow down on the initial tab-reading. Treat it like Reading Comprehension, not like a math problem. Read to understand the relationship between sources first.
The 75% practice accuracy vs DI score of 77 gap is also bigger than it looks. On the GMAT Focus Edition, DI is adaptive. The exam serves you harder questions as you perform well. If you're hitting 75% on Forum Quiz in normal mode, that's a mix of difficulty levels. Try filter-solving 700+ difficulty questions only in your next 30-question block and see where your accuracy actually lands. My guess is it'll be closer to 55-60%, which explains the score.
The TPA skipping thing is worth addressing directly. Skipping all TPA in Mocks 1 and 2 hurts your score calibration. The algorithm doesn't know you planned to skip them. It just registers wrong/blank answers and routes you accordingly. If Two-Part Analysis is weak, fix it with targeted practice rather than skipping it in full mocks.
Concrete suggestion: for the next two weeks, forget the daily volume grind. Instead, do 5 MSR sets with a 9-minute timer per set, reading phase included. Just MSR. Your Graphs & Tables and DS accuracy are solid, so don't touch those. MSR is the bleeding point right now.
