Did you mean the only resources you used are the OG, the practice question bundles and the official practice tests?

The information you provided is frankly too high-level. If I have to guess, for Quant there are two potential routes:
1. Find out if there is still weak area(s) in terms of subject topic and drill on them
2. Practice tough questions through GMAT Club Tests, which is known for challenging questions

As to resources for DI, this playlist of GMAT Ninja DI videos could be a good starting point.

For DS specifically, the DS Forum has tons of resources and practice questions.

It seems like your verbal is very strong, as shown in your verbal section and MSR scores. With 2 to 3 months of additional prep, I feel pretty confident you will make significant progress.

Hi yc168,

Yes, the only resources I used were the OG books (for Quant and Verbal), the online practice bundle (for all), and the Official practice tests.

What other information can I provide to paint a better picture for you?

I have gone through GMAT Ninja's yt series for all sections! Will definitely peruse again.

Do you believe I should consider coaching based on this?

I am a working professional. I took my first attempt with 2 months of dedicated prep - 1 hr/day @ weekdays + 5hr/day weekend.

Do you still believe 2-3 months of additional prep should suffice?

I think you should just retake.

If what you have worked on hold and works for practice tests, it doesn’t mean that you need to throw it away and run away in panic if one test doesn’t go your way.

You also should not panic on a test if you get a hard question, getting a hard question is a positive reinforcement and even if you cannot solve it, it’s not something you need to worry about. You just need to spend two minutes and solve the question in front of you and then you repeat the process. You may get an easy question or you may have a hard question, it doesn’t matter - you have to give your best.

If you have consistent practice test scores and you just messed up on the official test, I would suggest rebooking a test in two weeks and taking it again but with a bit more confidence this time 💪

Consider including working with a study buddy who's strong on DI. Even if you only do a single DI session together, it may potentially make your approach a bit more efficient. You could focus on question types you find particularly challenging or time-consuming and, in exchange, offer to help with other areas on the GMAT you're strong. There's a gmatclub study buddy thread you can check out/sign up to.
