Hi,

Can anyone explain the difference? Based on what will you choose one over the other?

On page 202 of Kaplan 2007 Premier, Qn 46 asks a question that involves these 2 words.

I think we use "probable" when we try to be more accurate about possibility. No?

probability it is used when you have more accurate information about some event's likelihood.

possibility is mere a chance (when you dont know how good or bad the chance is)

as in ... it is possible to score 800 but it is not probable :wink:
