Hello everyone!
I have my GMAT exam on Saturday i.e. 02/12/2017.
While packing my passport, I came to know that my passport name is XXX YYY ZZZ whereas the name in my profile is XXX ZZZ . Since YYY is my middle name I had not mentioned it while creating my profile.
However, I have emailed my passport, requesting the gmac candidate services to amend the name in my profile. They raised a case and gave the case number to me. To ensure myself, I called the customer care number available on the site which is for Indian candidates. The person on the call, Mr. Ronaldo, said he is working on it and will try to get it sorted and asked me to call the customer care again on 1st i.e. Friday (the day before my exam). He also said that since the first name and last name there shouldn't be a bigger problem.
I am very anxious because this ambiguity may jeopardize my candidature and I may not be allowed to write the exam.
Can anyone here please suggest a solution?

If the issue isn't resolved , advise you to take print out of verbal communication if any

The issue will be resolved mostly within 2 working days. I would suggest you call them up on Thursday. And ask them to provide you the reference # and written email so that you can take it to the test center if it is not resolved.
