There is not much of difference in terms of difficulty or question type , its only that two of the 6 tests are free.
Official mocks are a good source to simulate your preparation before D - day...

Is there any difference between Official Mock 1 and 2 (which is free) vs 3 and 4 (Which is paid)??
Hello, Shreyaskn. As the numbers themselves suggest, practice tests 1 and 2 are older. As such, some tutors and test prep professionals feel that the more recent tests, 3-6, better reflect the exam in its current state. To be honest, any practice with official mocks is useful practice. Since the first two mocks do, indeed, have a deeper question pool, and since you are able to reset them as many times as you like, you may be able to experience more than one unique test using the same mock. The question pool for the paid mocks is quite slim by comparison, and you get a single reset—repeat questions are much more common.

If you can afford it, I would recommend purchasing the paid exams, whether in one pack (3 and 4, or 5 and 6) or both. Gauging your performance across several official practice exams gives you the best idea of where you might stand on test day.

Good luck with your studies.

Hi Shreyaskn,
I agree with sjuniv32 that official tests are the same in terms of quality and difficulty. There are might some variations in the magnitude of test question bank.

Thanks!

They say it is typical to score less on the Official GMAT test than in the official mock tests (GMAC). But, how many point below should we be expecting??
I scored 100 points less than in my practice official mock tests and I am very worried. I do not know if it is normal such a huge difference. I thought I was not anxious during the test. I felt energized and eager...

Hi Shreyaskn,

For the paid exams, you can reset once each and see unique questions each time. That is not the case for exams 1 and 2. However, all the exams are of great quality.
