I post a question and receive feedback immediately. All of you are great. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about an MBA too much if I already had a professional career, but that is the difficult part. What can I do to increase my chances of getting hired by fairly big corporations? Could I maybe start an online MBA and start looking for jobs after taking a few courses?

Everyone's circumstances are different, and I respect that. That being said, I see little benefit in getting an online MBA for you. If anything, it will hurt your chances for getting a more competitive MBA in a few years because a lot of schools will not admit someone who already has an MBA.

If I was you, I would try to get into a big corporation as a contractor first. A lot of corporations do contract-to-hire since they get to 'test' the candidate first, and they are more lax in their contractor interview process for that same reason.

If you are serious about getting an MBA from a major school, then you need to make a 3 to 5 year professional/personal growth plan and stick to that. If you think that the MBA should get you a respectable entry level job, then lesser programs are definitely good avenues, but I'd just avoid the online MBA. Everyone knows it's less reputable than brick-and-mortar, so your chances to get that dream job will be reduced.

Good luck.
