Hi all,
This is my story, I gave my gmat 3 months back(AUG) and scored a dismal 600(Q 49,V23, IR6,AWA 4.5).Later i gave another attempt after 1 n half month nd scored a 650 (Q49, V28, IR2
).
Now i m not sure whether i ve to prepare harder nd give another attempt(becoz of d awful IR score and for a 700+ score) or apply for round 2 deadlines right now.
Also, BTW m an Indian with 1 n hlf yr Work experience in an IT firm.
rajshah1,
Given that your work experience is on the lower side and not particularly unique for an Indian applicant, it would be a good idea to retake the GMAT with the goal of crossing 700. Obviously, the final decision depends on which schools you are aiming for because, let's face it, there are schools to which you can get admits even with a 650 score. If you tell me what your post-MBA plans are, the geographies you are considering and any other criteria/expectations you have, I will be able to make recommendations.

And the biggest issue i am facing right now is that there are not many Mba consultants in Hyderabad. And i am very sure that i ll be needing some guidance in d bschool application process as i am totally unaware of whole procedure.
So Please, I request anyone who can guide me about which MBA consultant to opt in Hyderabad. Else atleast in Bangalore.
Kindly, please help me!! and advice me on d admission consultants. Thanks in advance!!
Why should location be a barrier?
Today, B-school applications happen online and interviews happen on Skype or over the phone; so you should not even be worrying about this. In any case, we are based in Bangalore (one of the places you are okay to come down to) and have helped hundreds of aspirants put in applications to schools across geographies. Some of the schools to which our students have made it include Harvard, Wharton, Kellogg, Duke, Tepper, INSEAD, Oxford, Cambridge, ISB, IIMs.
Why work with us? Two main reasons:1. You will be guided not by one person but by a team of experts: an alumnus of a top B-school, a story-telling expert from CrackVerbal, and a language editor
2. We will help you tell Your Story to the admissions committee. None of what we do is templatized - we will craft a personal strategy for you based on your profile, goals and target B-schools.
Please send me a PM if you want to learn more. You can check out our website also for more details:
