Main weakness is time management plus that I lack the application of quant concepts learned.

For time management, using question/time markers may help a bit. For Quant, going through the explanations/solutions people have posted on gmatclub threads for questions you've found challenging could also be helpful. You could also check/see whether there may have been shorter/easier ways to get to the correct answer choice.

Hi Marc_Finance,

I'm happy to help. To start, can you paste in a screenshot of your TTP analytics page?

--> To give a bit more context on my situation: Did TTP for 2 1/2 months prep, had a 515 baseline before, now scored 535 in the OG practice. The official exam is scheduled on 29th of September. Unfortunately, I cant really reschedule as I will start an internship on the 1st of October (in finance working 70-80hrs/week). Ultimately, Im aiming to apply for 2nd round in January and target a score of 630+. Technically, I could study on weekends and during christmas until January to give another try. So if you also have any advice on how to structure my studies for the next 3 months only working on weekends, then this would be great. Highly appreciating your help.
For this upcoming test, you could practice Quant and DI untimed and timed with official questions, and watching some DI videos should help.

For the next three months, I'd suggest completing the DI portion of TTP, and other than that, it appears that you mainly need to practice a lot more, meaning practice Quant and DI topics untimed until you are achieving close to 100 percent accuracy in easy, over 90% in medium, and over 70% in hard questions, and then work on speeding up.

You could practice with both TTP questions and official questions.

Also, you could complete some of the Verbal portion of TTP, such as Intro to CR, the beginning lessons of Assumption and of some other CR chapters, and the RC chapters, to get some more points in Verbal, which would help you achieve your total score target. Also, some formal study of Verbal could help with DI.

The tips in this post could help you get better results from your prep. Even though it's focused on Verbal, much of what it says applies to Quant and DI as well.

Thanks, Marty. This is very helpful advice. One last question, are there any best practices to go about the OG questions? Like doing specific set of questions, how to review, etc.?

I personally would do the OG questions on GMAT Club so that you can sort by topic and work on one topic at a time.

Also, I'd do most untimed and, each time you miss a question, take a long time to solve it, or otherwise have trouble with it, determine what the issue is - knowledge gap, execution issue, etc. - and address that issue.

You could do questions in sets and see how you did at the end of a set or do them one at a time. The one at a time approach can make it easier to identify issues that cause you to miss them.

Also, you may find that using the streaks method is helpful.
