Scott, Rich,
Thanks for the gentle answers.

I have bought the ESR report and it shows that I performed very weakly on CR questions. In particular, these are my percentiles for each sub-section:
- CR 38th
- RC 55th
- SC 91st

I've never used any particular strategy material nor for the Quant nor for the Verbal section, beside few pages of the manhattanprep book on Sentence Correction.
So far, my study approach has been trying to answer the questions and, any time I realize to have some theory lack, look for the material here on the forum or on Google and create my own notes. I feel that in this way I covered the entire theory for the Quant section but my score made me realize that I lack the right approach on the CR questions.

My idea now is to study the manhattanprep critical reasoning book and improve my time management on Quant section. I believe I will prepare the next test in 3 weeks (still have to register for the new date)

As soon as I have my pc back I try to attach you the ESR report.

rich, regarding the school I want to apply I honestly don't know yet. I would like to take the gmat first and if I can score a 680+ apply to European or US top 15 schools (LBS or Columbia preferred for personal/family reasons)

Thank you very much
Gabriele

Hi Experts, I'm going through something similar. Hence writing here.

Have given 3 official mocks till date. Improving in Quant. However, my verbal score fluctuated between 28-32 in the first two mocks. 3rd went spiralling down to V21.

Planning to give GMAT in October. Can't figure out a way to get better.

Please help.

Hi revamoghe,

To start, I suggest that you start a new post-thread (instead of piggy-backing on this old thread) in the General Strategies forum here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/general-gmat ... ategies-1/

In your post, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals, including:

1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) What is your overall Goal Score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
