Hi All,
I started preparing for GMAT in May '08. I gave the GMAT for the first time after prepping for 2 months and scored a 620. qa-46 and va-29. I analyzed my problem areas were ds and rc, cr in verbal so i started working on them. Also, i started taking practice tests and analyzing my mistakes from Og11 and each
MGMAT test religiously. My
MGMAT scores were in the range of 630 - 770. and i scored 740,710 respectively on my GMAT PREPS. I was pretty confident this time as i was constantly hitting 50 in quant. I gave the test yesterday and scored a 580 with qa-42(my lowest ever) and va - 29. It is a serious let down and i feel devastated to say the least.
But now, the urge has grown even stronger and now i want and i am sure i will get the score i dream. I am not a native English speaker. Since yesterday, i am thinking of giving the GMAT once without any serious prep just to see if am really that bad in the GMAT. But then, i also want to score good so i am in a dilemma. Also, please suggest that what shall be the timeline which i should give myself to improve my verbal from 31-44 range to constantly above 40. I did all the OG questions and gave each GMAT PREP twice and scored consistently in the 700 range.
Suggestions, help needed .....
