Does a measurement of discussion volume on a niche message board illustrate program quality? Probably not. However, I found it interesting to "rank" the schools based on total GMATClub pages dedicated to their corresponding applicant threads. Clearly, I'm bored.
Obvious methodology red flags include schools that have offered an additional, "early", round (see Columbia) or have simply increased traffic due to earlier decision announcements at this point in the process. Regardless, aside from the aforementioned CSB, along with unexpectedly poor enthusiasm for Harvard and Stanford, the rankings appear fairly accurate. Add this evolving measurement to the 264 other b-school rankings out there...

I was thinking about doing this but mush more info is needed:
some caveats/assumptions:
CBS, has an ED and a J-term so that thread started really early.
I want to see School/Pages/Applicants.
After its all said and done it should follow the application numbers we al know so well
HBS gets the most applicants so it should at the end of the cycle have the most pages.
Sometimes threads spike in activity around certain dates or news, so that has to be accounted for.
