Hi Guys,
I'm a Canadian looking to apply to US B-Schools. In Canada, most MBA's look at your last 2 years GPA, which in my case is a very good thing. This is also stated CLEARLY on the admission sections of the website. However, I can't find any information on how many years US B-Schools look at for your GPA. Is it assumed its your cumulative from all 4 years?
For me it is quite important to know this. My difference would be last 2 years ~3.5 GPA vs all 4 years 2.98 GPA.
Am I screwed? Can I kiss my hopes of Harvard/Booth/Kellogg goodbye?
Schools look at your combined GPA, not just the last two years. That said, trends are also important so if you have an upward trend it will be taken into consideration. You will still be evaluated with the 2.98 but it is better to have a 2.98 with a 3.5 the last two years than a 3.5 the first two years.
In terms of whether you can get into those schools, I would need a lot more info about your background first. Feel free to email me a resume if you want.
Best,
Scott
