Hey Guys.
I have started preparing for Gmat and I have been feeling a little overwhelmed but I am sure I will make it through.
Although I have mixed feelings over my chances of admission in MiM courses at the Top 50 B-Schools, since I will be receiving my degree next month after clearing my backlogs.(5-6 backlogs since semester 1)(6.0-7.0 GPA)
So if I get a Gmat score of 600+ as required by majority of these Universities, what are my chances of admission?
Erasmus University Rotterdam is my first preference.
Could anyone shed some light on this matter" Anyone with personal experiences ?
Hi
shuuu,
Well Top 50 is a huge bracket, with the right application I am sure that you can get into the top 20.
Well, if your GPA is below 7 then I would suggest you to aim for EU schools particularly those in France -With a 7+ you can aim for EU, Canada, US as well.
Now, RSM is the best brand out there in Netherlands - So the competition can be a bit tough there. Would suggest you to try for a GMAT 660+, and work on building up a strong application. RSM's has a decently young class profile, and we have had clients who got into the RSM MFin as freshers as well as an extensive work ex (2-5 years) - The school is actually pretty interested in how you link your post Masters goals to the program, so make sure you highlight this effectively.
To gauge your chances of admission, I would need more data points about your profile. Would suggest you to take up this free profile evaluation here, so that I can get back with an in-depth analysis -
