Hey
Shotgun829Thanks for getting in touch. As a military applicant, the big thing I want you to do right now is start reaching out to the military/veterans' clubs at each of your target programs. Schools will sometimes have specific resources available to military applicants, including special events with direct access to AdComs. (Talk to Stern about their new military scholarship program.)
I would like to know the actual numbers of your GRE score. I generally like to see 162-ish for Quant and I think your 70th percentile is more like a 156. GRE fatigue is a real thing and without knowing your entire preparation history (private tutors? classes?), it's hard to make a specific recommendation. You have the luxury of time though so if you can sweat it, I'd like to see you try again. (Consider working with a private tutor on quant for the month before.)
I LOVE that you've done HBX Core though. That is awesome and assuming you did well, it will reflect well on your candidacy.
I think you've put together a nice range of schools, but given both the GPA and the GRE plus the 7 years of work experience, I would like you to add Cornell and UT-Austin to the list please.
My other main suggestion is to contact us for a free consultation! Link in my signature. You can select the time/date/consultant that best suits your schedule.
My best,
