Let me give a quick profile of myself:

I graduated in the summer of 2017 with a masters degree in engineering and I have worked in business roles for two tech giants since then (think Google, LinkedIn, Amazon, Facebook and Microsoft). So I only have 1.5 years experience right now, though by September 2019 I will have just over 2 years. My lack of work experience is my biggest concern.

I am aiming to get 700+ in the GMAT and I have good and unusual extra curricular activities. I got 640 in my first attempt (I did not do any studying before this first attempt).

How feasible is M7, LBS, Cambridge or Oxford? Again, bear in mind that I want to start the MBA in September 2019.

You could ask some of the consultants here, although you'll likely need to provide a more detailed look at your profile.

Hi jamalabdullah100,

First off, a 640 is a solid score, so it might be enough to get you into your first-choice School. You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and application plans. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

1) What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for your 640?
2) What are the exact application deadlines that you are facing?

Hi jamalabdullah100,

As AjiteshArun mentioned, you should reach out to one of the many admissions consultants here on GMAT Club to get an opinion from a qualified person. Also, since you are planning to take the GMAT, you may find it helpful to read this article about how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!
