Re: Do OG questions give enough practice? [#permalink]

I agree - it really depends on your starting point, your background and other secondary factors such as study schedule, age, stress, etc.

For example, I am a big exception to the norm as I studied without OG, just used Kaplan books and GMAT Prep.

My suggestion would be that you practice using simulated tests - will be much more effective and valuable rather than solving a number of questions in untimed environment without any stress or variating difficulty. You need to develop test stamina and pacing - those 2 elements will not come from doing OG or other questions.

I am appearing for GMAT on sept 19th and want to give a brush up to my Verbal preparation.
Since I am aiming for 35-37 in verbal(based on my practice test scores) I want to know whether revising OG 11 will be sufficient during this period.
Apart from this I will be practising RC from LSAT papers and SC from the 1000sc+Brutal SC questions. Please suggest.

While Hussain has a point that for many it is not enough, for some people it is entirely enough.

Everyone's needs are very different regarding the amount of prep needed.

The best way to know if what you listed is enough it to take a diagnostic practice test to gauge where you are and where you need to improve.

Given the short time you are dealing with, it's unlikely you'll have time to change your game plane.

Best of luck.
