Hello to all GMATCLUBBERS,
I was browsing through course curriculums of various B-Schools and I found that, candidates like me (IT background) would require to know certain core topics in MBA maths (finance, accounting, economics, statistics).
Prof. Regan (Adjunct Professor at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, Visiting Lecturer, Johnson Graduate School of Management, Founder of MBA Math), offers online courses for MBA Applicants covering the core topics mentioned in https://www.mbamath.com/status/coursesummaryapplying.htm.
Do you think its a good idea to enroll in this course? Would it help me bolster my Application to Top 5 B-Schools?
Do you think it is important, for a canditate like myself to upgrade one's quant skills specifically related to the realms of MBA?
Suggestions are also invited for specific courses that may be useful for MBA applicants.

It never hurts to take extra classes. If anything, you'll be able to waive those courses when you start school, making room for more electives.
That being said, I've never taken any accounting, finance, calculus...a bunch of stuff that may bite me in the ass come Fall. I took statistics for non-majors way back in college and took two marketing courses that were relevant to my career. However, lack of business education didn't seem to hurt me and I got into a good program.
