Does anyone have experience with the GMAT appeals process?

Hello,
I took the online GMAT two weeks ago and scored a 770. I was absolutely ecstatic that my hard work paid off after months of intense studying. I received an email the next day saying my examination was undergoing an administrative review. I was unconcerned as I knew that this is somewhat common - especially for high scores - and I followed every single one of the rules.
This morning, however, I received a devastating email from GMAC that my score is cancelled, saying that they "noticed irregularities that are inconsistent with the GMAT™ terms and conditions as described in the GMAT™ Online Policies and Procedures". However, they did give me a free retake voucher and said I would only be able to retake the exam in-person. This is a terrible option for me because I have a very intense job, and testing centers are only available on weekdays and I will not be able to take off work to take it in person for at least the next month or two. They said that I have 7 days to appeal.
I followed all instructions to a tee. I had nothing on my desk but my laptop, a clear water bottle, my white 12x20 inch white board, two markers, an eraser, and my state ID. The only time I ever left the room was to use the bathroom during my breaks and I sat in front of my camera for a minute or two after relieving myself to clear my mind. I even asked my girlfriend to leave the apartment for the day and covered the glass door to my bedroom with a bed sheet to avoid any problems there. I never had any issue with my proctor. I have no idea what issue there could have possibly been.
I am of course appealing their decision. I have already sent an email to the GMAC customer care team. Does anyone else have any experience with the appeals process? Has anyone ever been able to reverse their decision to cancel? I haven't been able to find anything about this online and I'm honestly spiraling right now. It's been a horrible day for me...
