Hey everyone,
I have poor GPA in my undergrad, I scored around 57%(B.Sc, Life Sciences from Delhi University), and although on the university page I can see that I fall in the B+ category, but I am not sure how the MBA school will see it, so I took up a post grad diploma course in HRM in Seneca college, Canada and I have 4.0 GPA in it. So I was wondering if during MBA admissions they will give my diploma gpa any sort of weightage?

Hi gr310437 hope you are well

There's nothing you can do about your undergrad GPA, however, you can try to compensate for the same through a stellar score on the GMAT as well as citing your good performance in the postgraduate course. With a balanced narrative highlighting the differentiated aspects of your profile and strong leadership potential, you should be able to get invites from your target schools in Canada.

We have helped applicants with mediocre profiles get into top global schools by deep diving into their life stories and motivations, carving a narrative that focuses on their differentiating factors.

If you wish to seek professional guidance do reach out.
Best wishes

Hello gr310437,

Do not worry about the low undergrad GPA as you can always address the same in your applications. Besides, it is clearly not something that one can change. Just try your best to offset the same with a good GMAT score and know that the Ad Com will evaluate your profile holistically.

All the best!
