I raise this topic because I found two questions in the OG 2018 that have same problem but different answers.
In the question 759th, SC OG 2018, 'Fossils of the arm of a sloth....', the pronoun it is considered unaccepted because it refers to the object, instead of subject, which is the 'sloth'
In the question 761th, SC OG 2018, 'the eyes of the elephant seal...', 'the pronoun it is considered accepted although the pronoun refers to the object 'the elephant seal'
Do you guys agree with me on the GMAC's double standard?

No I do not agree, at least not for the two questions you have chosen. The word it is a personal pronoun. It can be a subject or an object. In cases where the word it is a placeholder, it needs an antecedent. The antecedent should be singular. It is not a SANAM pronoun so it never has a plural antecedent. In both questions, there is clearly something plural and something singular. The fossils are plural. The sloth is singular. The eyes are plural. The seal is singular. There’s quite a few other issues with the answer choices too.
