Hi,
I appeared for the GMAT exam on 12th August and received a score of 590 (Q49, V21). I am planning to retake the exam in a month. In the meantime, I would like to know if there are any Indian B-school that accept this kind of score.
I have 5 years of work ex as a journalist (ABP) and 1 year as an event manager (Business Head). Since the first round of application process is still under progress, I would like to know if I will be eligible for any reputed college.
Regards.
Posted from my mobile deviceThe problem with 590 is that every application you are considering would be a stretch. Don't know what you mean by reputed but IIMs are nowhere near with this score. You may think of probably SPJ, XLRI, MDI or even Great Lakes but again you would be struggling. If you are looking forward to stay in the field of your experience then MICA is a great option, however, it required 80 percentile in both section. But do check with some MICA alumni.
As you are appearing again in a month, its better that you concentrate over the test and try to improve Verbal(difficult in a month but possible) to 30-34 atleast since your Quant is good.
