What impact does a good work experience have on my Profile ? Do i get an edge over other applicants if i have a strong Work Ex from one of the Big 4 Consultancies ? And can my Volunteering and Work ex compensate for my poor GPA ?
- I have graduated from Manipal Institute of Technology - Information technology with 7.1 /10 GPA .
- 3 Years of Work Experience at Deloitte USI - Advisory , working as Solution Advisor (Consultant).
- Have experience in Working with US and German clients and cross cultural teams such has Olin , Bombardier , Avangrid and BASF.
- Have experience in managing a Team and can get a good solid letter of recommendation from Deloitte US - Managing Director (have directly worked with him
for close to 1 year)
- I have volunteered with an NGO that strives to educate under-privileged kids - I teach kids on weekends.
- I have been in the organizing committee for a Nation wide charity event and corporate event for the same NGO.
I am preparing for GMAT currently and aiming to apply for 2019 or 2020 fall session. Is there anything additional that i should be doing to make my profile attractive and help me overcome by bad GPA ?
