- • Donna’s annual salary in 2000
Approach and Working out:
- • By 2004, Donna’s salary would increase once in 2002 by 10% and again in 2004 by 10%.
• Net change in her salary = 10% + 10% + \(\frac{10 × 10}{ 100}\) = 21%.
Donna’s annual salary in 2004 = 1.21 × Her salary in 2000
- • $121,000 = 1.21 × Her salary in 2000
• Her salary in 2000 = $100,000
