GUYS, HAS ANYONE SEEN OR HEARD ON THE GMAT ,questions like bet'n 0 to 1000 with 1)contain 5 2) contain 5 in the middle 3) contain 7 and 3 and no other nos 4)have same units digit, but blah blah blah blah ( we would have gone nuts to comprehend anything else) 5) 10s digit is a factor of 7, but the other digit repeats blah blah blah ... are there actually such problems, and has anyone seen or heard abt such problems actually appearing on the GMAT.. if yes , how difficult is it?

These are certainly fair game. I'll admit, they may not be the easiest, but, on the plus side, I think they can be pretty straightforward. I've seen practice questions that feature two-digit number questions such as this.
