I think the answer is E too.

Gives us the inside dimensions of the crate, but we donÂ´t know the exact dimensions of the box.

St. 2
The dimensions of the crate could be WxLxH --> 6x8x4 or 8x12x6, but we donÂ´t know the exact dimensions of the box.

Combined the statements are not sufficient, I think.
Besides, the measurements are not equal. The box is given in inches and the crate is given in feet. I believe normally at the GMAT the conversion of inch and feet are given.

Correct me if I am wrong.

The OA is E. I read the dimensions of the box to be in feet instead of inches and came up with a C.

. Only now do i understand my mistake.

E. There's no way we can solve if we do not know the length of the rectangular box. Both (1) and (2) does not provide that vital piece of information
