What is the volume of a rectangular solid?

(1) The sum of areas of any two of the faces of the solid is 50.
(2) The length of one of the sides is 5.

I think it's A.
If the sum of areas of any 2 faces is 50, then it's a cube. Therefore, length, width and height equal 5 and therefore V = 5^3= 125.

I was going to say it was E - still not convinced. Any more explanations? It's not B or D - that's for sure.

Great problem:)
50 can be split into 25+25 or 40+10 , etc..but only 25+25 is valid as the area of "Any" two sides is equal...so its a cube..i took some time to think...
