A. if n+1 is divisible by 3, r when 7n+4 is divided by 3 is 0.

n+1 = 3k.

= 7n+4
= (4n + 4) + 3n
= 4 (n + 1) + 3n
if n+1 is divisible by 3, 4 (n + 1) is also divisible by 3. now remains 3n, which is always divisible by 3 since n is a +ve integer. so r =0.

B is not suff..
