Given all this, if I were advising you personally (with your goals), I’d lean toward the SJTU MIB (assuming the one-year dual-degree option works)
if the main draw is immersion + language + exploring China, rather than making a big career leap. It gives you a good mix of China exposure with English language instruction, and the brand of SJTU is solid.
On the other hand, if you were more ambitious about pivoting your career into China-business, or you foresee yourself using the network long term in Asia/China, then CEIBS would be a very strong choice but you’d need to be ready for the intensity, possibly longer commitment, and language demands.
Since you only plan one year and you’re coming from an EU master, make sure whichever you pick fits how you want to spend your year (balance of study vs exploration vs networking) rather than choosing purely on prestige.

Hi everyone ! I have the opportunity to do a dual degree at CEIBS MBA or SJTU MIB for a year (coming from an EU b-school at master level)Current chinese level ~HSK 4, do not project myself living in China FT but why not getting a bit of exp. there !My goal is to improve my chinese, network and travel a bit there. I heard CEIBS is quite intense but the network can be good. However it is quite unknown compared to SJTU.
Do you guys have any take / reviews on these two programs ?
Many thanks !
