Due to the fact that Jordan wrecked Bono's station wagon during a road trip last summer, she has not been and probably never would be allowed to drive her father's car.

(A) has not been and probably never would be allowed to drive
(B) has not been allowed to drive and probably never will be allowed to drive

C,D and E are incorrect because they change the logical meaning of the sentence. These choices indicate that Jordan has not allowed someone else to drive.

B is grammatically correct. But is slightly wordy because 'to drive' need not be repeated.

The 'would' in A is grammatically incorrect.

I guess B.

My pick is A. The original sentence is fine the way it is.

Only A and B seem to be parallel. We cannot have a sentence which ends like has not "be". The issue with B is that it is not concise.

We need 'been' here because the condition still applies..

Left with A or B.
B keeps tenses in check.

A: Lack of //ism. Also, "will never" is better than "never would" in this case.
B: The lenghtiest but also the only one that maintains //ism.
C: Similar to A. Also, it lacks "been" after "has not".
D: Lacks past perfect form of to be after "has not".
E: Similar to D.
