I got a call from my interviewer, welcoming me to the Fuqua community. I haven't emailed her about the decision, so I take it that AdCom asked her to call me. She also highly recommended that I attend the Blue Devil Weekend from April 13th through the 16th. I will definitely be there.

Hi All, Looking forward to meeting you all at Blue Devil Weekend. I am from New York but having been living in Madrid for the past year on an international rotation with Citigroup.

So no one in Fuqua has given us more information right? The only email I got was verifying my address. I expected more welcome emails from them!

Also, when do we get our login details to their admitted students site. That should be simple to give...

The admissions office is a bit understaffed. They are getting better at contacting students. You should be assigned to a Fuqua Buddy soon. This was an intiative that was started by students last year.

As far as the admit site, when I was admitted in 2009, I didn't get access until after R1 decision. Even then, the site was pretty barren. There won't be much information on it until the Summer.

I was a bit deterred by those initial contact as well, made me doubt my binding EA decision. However, the experience at the school is totally different. Surprisingly, the student runned organizations function very coherently, especially the General Management Club. GMC started reaching out to student during the summer with career calls, and contests on facebook to engage the students.

Aside from the email confirming my address, I got a call from my interviewer yesterday, welcoming me to the Class of 2014. That's about it for now though.

Thanks threestripes. Yes, I emailed my interviewer telling her I got in and then she congratulated me. I guess she cant call me because its a long distance call to Spain.

I called the admissions desk yesterday about some questions, and they gave me an email address to ask some questions. Just seemed a little less personal than I hoped after being accepted.

Well, looking forward to getting something written in the mail, my Fuqua buddy, and an email with login details to the admitted students site! I guess they are still organizing themselves.

Thanks Asimov! Yes, its a relief to hear from someone in the same boat who was accepted EA. I do feel they are understaffed as my friends from other schools getting in EA were swarmed with Welcome emails and calls. But I guess my Fuqua buddy will be a great start with the communications. I know when I visited campus everything was well organized and student run.

I was contacted by my Buddy today as well. I asked for somebody who has the same post-MBA goal, but I was assigned to somebody who has a similar pre-MBA professional background. It's fine though because he seems like a really nice guy.

I have requested for my schools to print and send my transcripts to Fuqua. I will wait for my packet to arrive before I mail the deposit check though.
