dumb and dumber - who applied/is applying to only 1 school?

Question

For many reasons, some of us apply only to one school and wait. It's sort of risky, but we do it anyway for many reasons.

I'll start - applied to only 1 school because I wanted a 1 year MBA and it had to be a top program. No other school qualified in my list (8 others are top US schools with 2 year programs and the other European was 2 year).

I guess Fig and GMATT are other two.

Who else is on this path?

Applying only to INSEAD for Jan 2008 intake . Was interested only in 1 year programme.

If I don't get through INSEAD, then I will apply to the US schools this fall.

I only applied to Kellogg's 1Y program. Partly because that's the only MBA program that I got really excited about. Partly because I don't need to go get a MBA right this second (although I would like to!). But also partly because Kellogg seems to care a bit more about "Why our school?" I figured it would help for me to state in my essays/interview that I am only applying to Kellogg.

Dumb and dumber? Probably. My consulting firm isn't particularly thrilled with my decision, and many asked me to apply to H/S/W/some other school. It's a pretty risky bet on my part. I guess I'll find out the return in a couple weeks.
