Someone please tell me how could be the store record is maximum number.Whats the key term I'm missing here
Because store record can be anything...What record it is talking about...A simple gathering of Data or a maximum/minimum number.

This prompt tells us a couple of different 'facts' about the numbers that we are asked to sum up:
1) There will be 31 numbers AND they're all DIFFERENT.
2) The highest number is 55 (since it was the "store-record"). If you're not familiar with this term, then you might think about any time you may have heard this type of language in the real world (re: a 'record temperature', 'record points scored in a game', etc.).
We're asked for the MAXIMUM total possible of tuxedos that were rented, which means that we'll have to choose the 31 "biggest" possible numbers, starting at 55 and "working down." From this point, there are a number of different ways to do the Arithmetic involved - and you'll can see some of the options in the other explanations in this thread.
