E-cigarettes, battery-operated nicotine inhalers, are becoming increasingly popular, with a Wells Fargo financial analyst predicting that U.S. sales will double this year, going up to $1.7 billion. Whereas most people think e-cigarettes are less dangerous than regular cigarettes, in an absolute sense the case is just the opposite because they contain a number of toxic chemicals and ultrafine particles in addition to nicotine.

The author of the above argument is likely to most agree to which of the following statements?

A) Most people are not cognizant of the presence or the harmful effect of the toxic chemicals and ultrafine particles in e-cigarettes.

B) The number of toxic chemicals and ultrafine particles in the e-cigarettes exceed the number of nicotine particles in regular cigarettes.

C) The U.S. sales of E-cigarettes will begin to fall from next year as more and more consumers get to know the harms associated with them.

D) Most U.S. consumers believe more in the advertisements than in the scientific research

E) Removing toxic chemicals and ultrafine particles from e-cigarettes would eliminate the harmful effects of smoking e-cigarettes.

It is between A and B.

B would not be correct because passage is not giving any clear information on the number of nicotine particles in regular cigarettes.
