And although Columbia's ED round is "morally binding", Tuck and Darden's EA rounds are "non-binding". Hmm .. if you think about it, Columbia's ED round is not really fair to its peer schools (Compared to, say, Tuck's EA round - which is based on a similar idea, but with a better implementation).

Columbia GSB sucks

When Bschools are supposed to be more open and ethical, columbia's way of jacking its acceptance rate sucks!

M7 school having ED round what a jokE!

NO !! You and your school suck !! Now that I'm more than half-way through with my Columbia-essays, Columbia can't suck !! :wink:

But yeah, the way Columbia uses ED and its "moral binding" to stay competitive with other ultra-elites is one thing that I don't like about them. The way they over-emphasize on the M7, the ivy league etc is something else that I don't like. Although thankfully they seem to be coming around now.
