2) The three major networks each (broadcast,broadcasts) exactly the same statement from a political candidate.

The reason here plural form of verb (broadcast) is used is because the subject is plural (networks). However, if the statement was like this:
Each of the three major networks (broadcasts, broadcast) exactly the same statement from a political candidate.

then, the correct choice would have been "broadcasts" as that goes with the singular subject (Each).

I rememeber this was explained on the foum couple of months back.

OA:
1) singular -> is
2) plural -> broadcast

If 2) was Each of the three networks, it would have been singular!

With
Together with
As well as
Accompanied with
--> Verb depends on the first N

E.g. I with John am ready to help you
John with me is ready to help you

Or…
Either…or…
Neither …nor…
Not only….but also…

-->verb depends on the nearest noun to it.
e.g. Neither Mary nor I have gone to air club recently.
