Each of the figures below is a different color: green, red, blue, orange, or yellow. Which is the green figure?
(Is there a figure missing??)
Well lets still have a crack at it: Let the figures be G, R, B, O, Y
(1) The green figure is between the blue and the orange figures. This gives us the sequence as: B__G__O But various combinations of Green figure can be figured out: BGO_ _ B_GO_ B_G_O B_ _ GO Hence insufficient (2) The green figure is between the red and the yellow figures. R__G__Y Again similar several Green figure positions can be made Hence insufficient
(1) and (2) We know G is between B&O and R&Y Hence the combinations which can be made are: BRGOY RBGOY BRGYO RBGYO YOGBR OYGBR YOGRB OYGRB
Hence we can always figure out that the \(3rd\) figure is green. Hence Sufficient
IMO Ans C
