Look, you can try, but you will get into a less good program than you will if you wait. You simply won't have the experience or the stories that the school is looking for. Now, you can decide that that difference in ranking doesn't matter to you so much, because it's more important for the family business that you do this NOW. And that's a fine business decision as well, if you believe that is what is important, but try and consider also the school's perspective. If you apply with little experience, they can very easily just say "Well, he could be interesting, but why don't we wait two years and find out what he can REALLY do."

So, of course the final decision to apply or not, is up to you. But my advice is that unless you have pragmatic business reasons to do this now, that you wait at least one year, and better two.

Best,
Jon

Hey sir
Apologies for troubling you again but i have a specific query now =>
Is my profile good enough for notre dame ?
and additionally if not should i skip applying this year in R2 and apply in early round next year so that my work ex will be more than 2 years and 4 months?
i want to get into notre dame or georgetown..!
Actually Notre dame is my top priority.

P.S => I realize my post was a bit amateur given that i didn't do any research back then .
have done my research now ..!

Cheers

Hey Stone Cold!
No apologies necessary!
I think you should still wait it out till next year. You will have a lot more options. And your MBA will be more useful, because you will have gathered a lot more experience!
Best,
Jon
