I am a 25F working in private equity and considering applying to MBA programs in the next 2 years. I am not ready yet to begin working with a consultant on applications, but am interested in doing a profile review to identify any gaps in my candidacy that I can work on over the next year (e.g., leadership, volunteer experiences, etc.). Does anyone have suggestions for consultants / services?

You’re asking a good question. This is the slow time for consultants so you’re more likely to get their attention then two months ago or two months later. What’s your asking about is a service that some consultants used to offer but I don’t see that as much around these days. You can definitely get a consultation from many of them and have a call. A few, admission auto comes to mind, used to offer an early applicant package where they would work with you a year or two in advance and have weekly or monthly monthly check in calls to work on your profile and to see how your journey and your progress are doing. It’s kind of like having a mentor in the sense. I am not sure if they’re still doing it.... but that could be some thing you could try if you are more serious about it and willing to spend money. Otherwise you can definitely get a number of free evaluations.
